Markham Square is located on the south of Highway 7 west of Warden and east of Woodbine. It is a cultural mall inspired by Asian culture. The shopping mall was opened in 1998, from only a few stores open to 170 stores providing goods and services in a short period of time. Markham Plaza is most famous for its food court with more than 24 restaurants, attracting as many as 1,000 diners every day, plus more than 23 restaurants and coffee shops around it.
